Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Protect your account from a data breach with multi-factor authentication

Enhance Your Account Security with EasyEviction’s Multi-Factor Authentication

With the increasing risks of data breaches, securing your EasyEviction account has never been more important. By enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA), you add an extra layer of protection to ensure your sensitive data and client information stay safe.

Weak passwords account for over 80% of organizational data breaches, with up to 30% of incidents linked to password sharing, reuse, or phishing attacks. EasyEviction's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) feature strengthens your security by adding an essential layer of protection during login, significantly reducing these risks and safeguarding your organization from potential threats.

Why Enable Multi-Factor Authentication?

Data breaches can cost businesses millions, jeopardizing sensitive information and trust. Enabling MFA safeguards your data and protects the personal details of your clients and tenants, ensuring their privacy and your peace of mind.

Benefits of Enabling MFA:

  • Strengthen your security.
  • Be alerted immediately if an unfamiliar login attempt occurs.
  • Safeguard all your case details, contracts, and confidential information from unauthorized access.

How to Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication:

  1. Log in to your EasyEviction account.
  2. Navigate to User Settings > Security > Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  3. Click the Set Up button.

4. Save your Recovery Code

MFA recovery codes are critical for account access in case of issues with your primary authentication method. You can download and securely store these codes to use as a backup. If lost, new codes can be generated from your account's security settings.

5. You will receive an email after completing the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) registration.

Note: When enabled, you will be required to enter a code from your authenticator app in addition to your password.

Stay Alert for Unauthorized Access

If you receive a login verification email without attempting to sign in, it could be a sign that someone else is trying to access your account. If this happens, change your password immediately to protect your account.

At EasyEviction, we take data security seriously. Enabling MFA is a simple but effective way to protect your account, your business, and your clients.
