EasyEviction Subscription & Billing Guide
Managing your EasyEviction account is straightforward with the billing options available. This guide covers everything you need to know about billing, plan management, and seat allocations, ensuring you can tailor your subscription to your needs with ease.
Subscription Plans and Billing Cycles
EasyEviction offers both monthly and annual subscription plans. Your account will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. Whether you’re upgrading, downgrading, or adding/removing seats, you can make changes at any time via the Admin Center.
- Upgrading Plans: If you upgrade your plan or add seats, the additional charges will apply immediately to your current billing period.
- Downgrading Plans: Downgrades or seat reductions will take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle.
Trial Period and Transition to Paid Plans
New EasyEviction users receive a 14-day free trial of the Professional plan. At the end of this trial period, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan unless you decide to upgrade to a paid option.
- Any paid features, such as premium tools or additional user licenses, will be disabled once the trial ends.
- To continue using these features, you can upgrade at any time. If you prefer, you can switch to the Free plan.
Key Billing Terms Explained
Understanding these key billing terms will help you better manage your subscription:
- Seats: A seat refers to a user who occupies a license within your EasyEviction account. You’ll be charged for all the seats you have, even if they are not all in use.
- Users: A user is someone who holds a seat and has access to EasyEviction features according to their assigned plan.
- Organization: Your EasyEviction account is considered an organization. If you're on the Free plan, it’s just your account, but as you add users, they become part of your organization.
- Upgrade: Moving to a higher-tier plan (e.g., from Free to Enterprise) to access more features.
- Downgrade: Switching to a lower-tier plan (e.g., from Professional to Starter).
How Charges Are Applied
Your billing will reflect any changes you make to your subscription plan or the number of seats:
- Seat Charges: You are charged for all seats in your organization, regardless of whether they are actively being used. For example, if you have 10 seats and only 6 users, you will be billed for all 10.
- Annual Discounts: If you opt for an annual plan, you may receive a discounted price. Additionally, when you exceed 30 seats, the per-user cost decreases.
Modifying Your Subscription
- Upgrading or Adding Seats: Any changes made by upgrading your plan or adding more seats will take effect immediately within the current billing cycle.
- Removing or Downgrading Seats: If you choose to downgrade your plan or reduce the number of seats, these changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle.
Managing Your Account
In the Admin Center, you have full control over your EasyEviction account, including the ability to adjust your subscription, modify seat allocations, and view your billing history. You can manage your subscription plan directly from the billing page, where you'll also find a detailed breakdown of any charges before you confirm any changes.
Account Deletion
If you decide to permanently delete your EasyEviction account, be aware that doing so will result in the permanent removal of all associated data. To close your account and delete your information, please follow the instructions in the Close Account Section of the Subscription page in the Admin Settings.
