This guide will assist you in configuring Attorney Fees tailored to each client. Specify the amount for a particular client, and watch it auto-fill when you add an Attorney Fee, whether you're doing it manually, using the workflow, processing an eviction, or creating a new eviction. 

Setting a Client-Specific Attorney Fee


Step 1: Go to "Clients"

On your EasyEviction Dashboard, click the "Clients" widgets, then select a Client.

Step 2: Go to "Settings".

Click the Settings Tab under the 'Client: Open Evictions Page.'

Step 3: Enter the Attorney Fee for the specific client.


Automated Client-Specific Fees: Four Ways to Populate When Creating a Billable Item

I. MANUALLY ADDING A BILLABLE ITEM

When manually adding a billable item from within an open eviction.

Go to "Open Evictions" then select a client.

Click the "Add Billable Item" Tab.

Select "Client-Specific Attorney Fee"

Under the Flat Fee Type, choose 'Client-Specific Attorney Fee'

Enter the Amount and Select a Description

Input the fee for the specific client and choose a suitable description for the set Client-Specific Attorney Fee.

Click the "Save" button.

II. THROUGH THE WORKFLOW

When completing a workflow step with a custom billable item.

Go to Admin Settings > Workflow > Select a specific Workflow

Click the pencil icon or edit button on the Intake Step.

Click the "Add Auto-Billing Item"

Under the Billing Options Section, Click the "Add Auto-Billing Item" Button

Select Client-Specific Attorney Fee.

Then Click Save and Apply Changes.


​You may check the 'Allow adjustments to Auto-Billables when completing step' box to enable modifications upon completing a step then click 'Apply Changes'.

Auto-Billable saved will reflect on the Intake Step in a green tag.
Click "Save" to finally confirm and apply all modifications.

III. PROCESSING EVICTION

When handling an Eviction from the inbox, and the chosen workflow includes a custom billable item defined in the Intake step.

Go to Eviction Inbox, then select a case.
Select the Workflow with a Client-Specific Attorney Fee Auto-Billable.


Under the Auto-Billables Section, the Client-Specific Attorney Fee will show in a green tag.

If a specific amount has been entered, it will be displayed.


If no specific amount has been entered, $0 will appear.

IV. CREATING A NEW EVICTION

When initiating a New Eviction (Attorney only), provided the chosen workflow includes a custom billable item defined in the Intake step.

Under the Documentation Step, scroll down to see the 'SIMPLE WORKFLOW - VA: INTAKE FIELDS'

The Client-Specific Attorney Fee will be automatically displayed in the Auto-Billables Section.
